Having grown up on the gritty, psychedelic sounds of classic rock, Alex Hawken has been breathing music since he can remember. He lends credit to his parents for gifting his ears with Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd and countless musical icons. However, Alex would soon find another musical pathway, less travelled.

While attending high school in London, ON Alex discovered a fresh sound packed with digital synths and drum machines; electronic dance music would become the sound of his generation.

Upon frequenting various electronic music events, Alex’s interest continued to pique and eventually saw him learning the techniques of DJing. Initially, he could be heard playing at friends’ house parties or hosting his own events across London. Passion and dedication resulted in a rapid climb to the top of London’s nightclub circuit.

Throughout the past year, Alex has found himself sharing the decks with notable industry names. He made his debut alongside an international artist in September 2016 when he was invited to play a private event with No.19 label boss Nitin. Since then, Alex has landed opening slots for techno act Oxia and Italian duo Neverdogs. His diversity and versatility behind the decks sees Alex blending techno, house, acid and disco to deliver memorable dance floor sets. Alex Hawken has earned his place as a key player among today’s London underground music community!
